Welcome to Lubematic Africa

Automated Lubrication Systems

Lubematic Africa - specializes in providing Automatic Lubrication Services, Lubrication Equipment, and Fast Fill Diesel Systems, along with other related services to the Mining, Manufacturing and Construction industries.

Who We Are

Lubematic Africa is recognised for the value, performance and quality of our products and services. We offer progressive and single line systems with volumetric injector flow for oil and grease, progressive metering and volumetric elements.

We offer fully automated and centralised systems that run on oil and grease. Our products are used in all industrial systems, vehicular systems and several other fields such as mining, railway, machine tools, paper industries, wind energy and marine equipment.

We're capable of supporting and maintaining various popular brands as we have access to product support from most major supply channels.

Our Direct Services

Our direct services include supplying, installing, and maintaining of Automatic Lubrication Systems, Fast Fill Diesel Systems, and Contract Fire System installations to our clients' EMVs. We also provide Workshop Lubrication Equipment to support service bays and workshops.

Network of Sub Installers

To further enhance our reach and provide more efficient support to our client's needs, we work with a network of sub-installers who contract with us for installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Service and Support Network

We believe in empowering and creating opportunities which is why we have established this network of sub-installers to expand our service and support network.

The Benefits of Automatic Centralised Lubritcation Systems

Improves the operational efficiency of the machine, increasing its productivity.

Lengthens the average service life and reliability of machinery.

Prevents expensive machine breakdowns due to lack of lubrication, which lowers repair and replacement costs.

Using the right amount of lubricant prevents unnecessary waste, saves money on lubricant costs, and lowers the chance of harming the environment.

Enables reaching difficult areas, avoiding danger for the operator.

Enables programming the lubricant dosage timing to match the machine's needs, and controlling the whole system's operation using specialised control equipment.

Enables adjusting the exact amount of lubricant in each point, even after installation.

Simplifies system implementation by using modular components that can be added or removed based on the customer's changing needs.

Our Services

Lubrication is vital to the performance of rotating equipment in every industry. At Lubematic Africa our Single-line, Progressive Lubrication System and Volumetric Injector Flow Systems are designed to protect and lubricate your equipment and machinery. No matter where in the lubrication management journey you are, with Lubematic Africa you can boost the performance that matters to your business.
Single-line Lubrication System

The injector system (single line) of a Centralised Lubrication system are designed to deliver a precise amount of lubricant directly through a single line injector to the lubrication point.

Progressive Lubrication

The progressive lubrication system consists of a pumping unit connected to volumetric distributors which, through the pumping action of a piston placed inside them, ensure the delivery of a predetermined quantity of lubricant to a corresponding number of users.

Volumetric Injector Flow

The volumetric system is based on Positive Displacemente Injectors (PDI). A precise, predetermined volume of oil or soft grease is dispensed to each point unaffected by temperature or viscosity of the lubricant.

Efficiency and Difference Between Manual and Automated Lubrication

Centralized Lubrication systems are designed for the automatic lubrication of moving parts that generate friction. These systems considerably reduce maintenance costs for the machinery on which they are installed, eliminating machine downtimes for lubrication and extending the life of the lubricated components.

With manual centralized lubrication all the machine lubrication points are grouped by means of appropriate piping, thus facilitating the task of the operator who must intervene on a small number of points, reducing operation times and closing the quantity of lubricant with greater precision, avoiding uncomfortable or hazardous conditions. With manual lubrication, the contact point must bare the dead-weight and the applied load.

With automated lubrication, even and continuous lubricant film via automated lubrication during operation. Automatic lubrication points in a single point and the operator is completely replaced by a pumping unit and specific control equipment. The automated systems also allow all the points requiring lubrication to be reached; even those not easily reached by an operator.

Why is Automated Lubrication better than Manual Lubrication?

-  Automated Lubrication is a even and continuous lubricant film via automated lubrication during operation.

-  Automated Lubrication allows frequent lubrication and not only maintains the proper lubrication film to reduce wear, but also acts as a means to purge the pins and bushings of contamination.

-  To properly lubricate manually, it normally takes at least 30 minutes per machine every day which is time consuming, where as Automated Lubrication does it on its own, saving you time and the hassle of doing it manually.

Automated lubrication reduces running costs, maintenance costs, downtime and lubricant usage while increasing lube efficiency, vehicle uptime and life expectancy of parts.

Daily lubrication is vital to the life of pins and bushings

When rock dust, dirt, sand and water are allowed to work their way into these components, they will form a “grinding compound” that reduces bearing life substantially.

To properly lubricate manually, it normally takes at least 30 minutes per machine every day. This will cause downtime and higher maintenance cost. Frequent lubrication not only maintains the proper lubrication film to reduce wear, but also acts as a means to purge the pins and bushings of contamination.

Daily manual lubrication is not easy due to:
• Bad weather conditions.
• Production demands –– prevent machinery downtime.
• Safety concerns –– from climbing over machinery.
• Logistics –– such as lubrication truck availability and equipment location.
• Many bucket and boom pins need to be lubricated in more than one position to evenly distribute lubricant and protect components under heavy loads.
• Manpower issues –– not all employees perform lubrication properly.
